Sadly, we women are hard on ourselves and somehow have traded the truth of who God says we are for a tarnished version of ourselves, fashioned by the approval of others and adorned with our own insecurities.
I grew up in a dysfunctional home and was severely overweight as a teen. As a young woman, I battled depression, an eating disorder and Dyslexia. I understand the pain that comes from a broken home and know what it means to fight for freedom from your past.
In God's strength I have written best-selling books and had the honor of speaking to thousands a year. I have learned through God's Word and my own life experience that Our King can turn our pain into passion to do something great to further His Kingdom if we allow him to.
